Yes dear friends, that’s how an old tune by Rocco Granata went like some (many, oh so many) years ago.
Well, doesn’t it sound striking nowadays?
I mean, we’re all thrilled by the return of our dear diva, a breath of fresh air in the middle of September, the light that shines on our beloved soap opera, just when the atmosphere seemed to lose strength, with the Baldi sisters basically disappearing from view.
As the Della Rocca dynasty seems to lose ground and be destined to fade away, here she comes: the man who will bring her back on track will be Ivan, thus coming back to some important and central role in the play. An e-mail contact between the two will show us that Ivan never ceased having a correspondence with Marina all through these three years, and he will be the one who will decide to get in touch with her eye to eye. They will start talking about these last three years, the scandals that plagued Centovetrine, the Baldi sisters affair, the death of Anita Ferri, the rise of Carol Grimani (whom Marina always had a connection and an adverse relationship with, we will be told!) and that will be the force that will drive our diva to come back to Italy: she will land at Lampedusa, greeted by Marco, and all at once Carol will send the police to chase and stop them from making any further move: it’s going to be true fight from the very start, my friends!
Marco and Marina will also develop some sort of a deep relationship, and would it be any surprise when Marina comes to town? Oh no, dear ones, you know she’s THE DIVA!
Helped by the Della Rocca brothers, Marina will finally succeed in coming back to the top of the scene, and that’s when the main fight with Carol will really start: get ready, we’ll have the privilege to watch the two dark ladies come to terms, punches and kicks included, nothing spared…
This will be the very moment when Marina will have to introduce to the public scene the only real heir of the Ferri dynasty, Pietro, her son, Ettore’s son. Being a mother will show us a different side of Marina, we will have to deal with a responsible and committed woman, even more mature than what she used to be.
Then Pietro will soon be in trouble, and Marina will have to protect him, Edoardo will gain back a central role, someone will probably die, someone else might re-appear… we’re only at the very beginning of the whole story, so get ready and sit back and enjoy!!!"
